Bungie Inc. is expected to come out with “Destiny 2” in 2017 as game developers try to wrap up work on the sequel. Expected are new storylines, characters and other features. However there could be one perk that will get gamers more interested, that is a PC version.
If so, this could be a big update for “Destiny” players. Back in 2014, a PC version was shot down with Bungie placing emphasis on the game console sector. The latest rumors offer renewed hope to see a PC version though it comes with varying takes.
First off, the belief that “Destiny 2” could be planning a PC version stems from a job post up at the Bungie website. The opening calls for a World Design Tester position where a candidate possesses experience testing games in multiple platforms (i.e. P3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC), Game Rant reported.
The obvious kicker here is the inclusion of the PC. However, Jason Schreier of Kotaku immediately shot down the possibility, citing out the inclusion of the PS3 and the Xbox 360. With Bungie cutting support for new content, it makes no sense to see “Destiny 2” on any of them, especially the PC.
For those who don’t know Schreier, he is a reliable source when it comes to “Destiny” updates. As far as a PC version for “Destiny 2” is concerned, the listing may be questionable though he claims he can confirm its coming to the PC, Ubergizmo reported.
@Gothalion It's not on 360/PS3 so that job listing doesn't say much. But I can confirm it'll be on PC!

Bungie has yet to address the matter on “Destiny 2” though Schreier holds a credible track record. Either way, the sequel is coming out as scheduled and the expected date is by the Fall of 2017. Also, if a PC version does come out, does this mean players will have to start from scratch?
