At long last, "Your Body Is A Wonderland" hit singer is back in the spotlight carrying his newest single. John Mayer has not been launching his own music for about three years. Last Thursday, Mayer took the Internet world by storm by announcing his latest song. Clearly, a lot of people missed his music and his unique style.
He did a Live Facebook chat and premiered the track. "Love On The Weekend" is his first original song after his last album was released. The release date of his new album is yet to be announced, so we will have to wait on that.
Although the 39-year-old singer and songwriter has yet to confirm the title of his new album. His drummer, Steven Jordan, accidentally spilled in an ET interview and, by looking at his Instagram page, he has been giving hints it might be called "The Search For Everything".
His last album "Paradise Valley" was released in August 2013. After promoting and touring for his last album, Mayer had been busy with lots of good stuff other than his music career. Evidently, his Instagram account confirms it.

The latest single starts with "It's a Friday, we finally made it/ I can't believe I get to see your face/ You've been working and I've been waiting/ To pick you up and take you from this place." The first few verses of the song and Mayer's musical magic catches the hearts of many. The song is the perfect escape and the right track to listen to after a stressful week. It's safe to say, John Mayer still is a music genius. His single is a clear proof that weekends are always something to look forward to.
