With just days away from release, game publisher THQ Nordic revealed new details about "Darksiders: Warmastered" Edition with a new trailer to boot. The new trailer will not only serve as a preview on what fans could expect but also to show "Darksiders" in a cleaner and modern look.
According to THQ Nordic, "Darksiders:Warmastered Edition" will feature 4K support not only for its PC version, but also the Playstation Pro. In addition, it will run at 60fps (frames per second) in all platforms with the exception of Wii U which will run at only 30fps.
Additional updates for "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" also include a version of Darksiders (Wrath of War) for all platforms, 1080 screen resolution for consoles, double all texture resolutions, rendering, improvements and rework. The Wii U is the only platform that would not reach 60fps. There is still no confirmed release date for its physical or digital release. However, that information is expected to be announced soon.
A new teaser trailer was also released for "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition." It features the first horseman of the Apocalypse as he stands accused of breaking the sacred law of Heaven and Hell, resulting in the premature end of the world in the process.
"Darksiders Warmastered Edition" will be launched for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One on November 22, with the PC version following suit on November 29, 2016. In line with these updates, fans of the franchise are eagerly looking forward for the supposedly third chapter of the game titled "Darksiders 3." However their seems to be no sign of a proper third game which was planned by THQ Nordic back in 2013.
"Darksiders Warmastered" Edition is based on the original game titled "Darksiders." The "Darksiders" is an action adventure video game developed by Virgil Games and published by THQ Nordic. The game takes inspiration from the apocalypse and battle of Armageddon described in the Bible's Book of Revelations, with the player taking the role of War, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. The game was released on January 5, 2010.
