NVIDIA has released another WHQL update to optimize greater number of games, cement the last fixes, and also to prepare for more releases. Both updates and releases have been coming quickly and now a lot of people are wondering what 375.86 has to offer.
Majority of the fixes this week are moving from the 375.76 Hotfix to the latest 375.86 WHQL driver update. Some of the fixes included in the hotfix are intended for high refresh monitors that encounter flickering problems. Apart from that, there is also an issue regarding the artifacts in GIFs found from the previous 375.63 update that had been removed.
NVIDIA 375.70 driver, on the other hand, had caused both ghosting and smearing. Furthermore, the GTX 1080 also failed to enable surround with a SLI HB bridge and the incorrect memory usage was reported while gaming in SLI using Pascal CPUs.
A number of issues are now being investigated by NVIDIA according to Geforce. The company reports several GPU-related display issues in Battlefield one with the 375.86 update. The GTX 1080/1070/1060 video memory also gets stuck at 810MHz. For those interested, the new update drivers can be downloaded through Geforce.
Meanwhile, a great number of gamers are complaining about several problems after the release of the all new Game Ready 375.86 drivers last night. The customer care department of the graphics card company has already posted on its official forums their advice with regard to potential flaws and how to report such.
According to the forum users on NeoGaf, both Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare are also suffering from jittery menus and flickering menus after having installed the latest drivers.
For those who are still planning to download the latest update of NVIDIA, TechRadar suggests to wait for now. This is because of the fact that the company is still trying to sort the problem. Watch video about "GTA 5" NVIDIA GeForce WHQL driver 375.70 vs 375.86
