"Among the Sleep" is one of the best first person horror games of Norwegian developer Krillbite that was first released on 2014. Another game that will make users crawl into a nightmare realm, "Mosaic", has been revealed by the same developer and will be available in PS4 as well as PC, Mac and Linus next year.
The studio announced that the game will focus on "narrative and puzzles" and it seems like "Mosaic" will depart from the original concept of "Among the Sleep". Indeed, the titles of the games look unnerving yet "Among the Sleep" is different from "Mosaic".
'Mosaic' more creepy than shocking
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, "Mosaic" will be a mysterious adventure game and the company hopes that the production and development will be completed by late 2017.
"Among the Sleep" overtly frightens players through scare and shock tactics, while "Mosaic" gets under players skin due to dreary atmosphere made by bureaucratic monotony.
"Mosaic" will allow the gamer play the role of an office worker who is used of doing the same routine every day- get up, work, sleep and again. He lives without knowing his purpose in life but, one day something strange happened which changes everything as described in Gematsu.
The studio said that instead of a dark and eerie atmosphere like that of "Among the Sleep", the new game will have a clammy and angsty atmosphere due to social alienation and work related stress that will surely scare players in a unique way. The main goal of the game is to create an experience that will enrich the lives of the players.
Like many other games, "Among the Sleep" has numbers of detractors. On a good note, Krillbite allows users to try on the amazing five minute experiential game called "The Plan" which could be played for free. "The Plan" is only light on conventional gameplay, but is strong in atmosphere according to Eurogamer.
