Electronic Arts (EA) recently provided the detailed notes of the new "Battlefield 1" patch. The massive "Battlefield 1" fall update provide a number of game changes, including the removal of incompetent squad leaders and various glitches.
IGN reported that the "Battlefield 1" update also changed the mechanics of squad leadership to the delight of gamers. Now, if the squad leader ignores requests for orders, the leadership will be transferred to another squad member.
The "Battlefield 1" fall patch also clears the queue for the squad if the current squad leader issues an order. When a squad member requests an order without an active squad order, the requesting player will be added to the queue consisting all who wants to be squad leader.
The 60-second timer will start in "Battlefield 1" and will not be reset if there are other squad members still waiting for the queue. When the 60 seconds lapse, the first member in the squad queue, arranged according to the time of request, will be promoted to squad leader.
If the new leader fails to issue orders, the timer will again start and assign the next member in the queue to lead the squad and so on. The "Battlefield 1" notes revealed that the fall patch introduced changes in Conquest provided more capture points on the Suez map and setting the default Operation size from 60 to 40.
Two more flags were added to the map, making it a total of five. Sevreal other bugs and gameplay fixes were also made on the Suez map. The adjustment will make Operations mode more player-friendly, as well as improve what many deem as one of the worst maps in "Battlefield 1."
The "Battlefield 1" patch also provided fixes in several maps, the UI, weapon vehicle and gadget balancing, and feature updates. More fixes to the audio, campaign and server were also made. The "Battlefield 1" update also allowed players to customize their soldier from within the UI.
As regards the weapons, light machine guns had their bullet suppression increased at medium range, while the aimed accuracy of support machine guns was raised. More news and updates on "Battlefield 1" are expected soon.
