Fans are already talking about the potential features and specifications of the iPad Pro 2. There will expectedly be several big changes in the iPad Pro 2, which is said to arrive in three display variants.
Japanese blog Mac Otakara stated that the iPad Pro 2 will be available in three screen variants. The three models will respectively have a 7.9-inch, 10.1-inch and 12.9-inch display.
The 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 will allegedly have a True Tone and wide color display and advanced four-channel ambient light sensors that will automatically adapt the color and intensity of the display. These will match the light in the surrounding environment.
There are also rumors that the second variant will have a 10.5-inch display, while others speculate that a 10.9-inch bezel-less display will be available. The iPad Pro 2 is expected to become available in spring 2017. There are also talks that the headphone jacks will be completely absent from next-generation Apple devices.
The iPad Pro 2 may introduce Ear Pods and feature quad microphones. The new device may also come with iOS 11 out of the box, the A10X processor and 3GB or 4GB of RAM. There may also be added accessories and upgrades like a better keyboard.
MacWorld wrote that despite the possible increase in the screen size of the iPad Pro 2, it may still have the same enclosure size as the previous 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The bezel-less design makes it possible to increase the display size without changing the enclosure dimensions.
The Home button may have also been taken out to allow the bigger screens. The iPad Pro 2 may feature a new 12-megapixel rear camera, similar to the original device.
Alleged leaked photos of the iPad Pro 2 showed that it only had 12GB of internal storage, although it may only be a test version. The iPad Pro 2 will at least include a 128GB model, considering that the original had the same storage capacity.
Users also expect the iPad Pro 2 to have a 5-megapixel selfie shooter, which is an upgrade from the 1.2-megapixel front camera of its predecessor. It may allow 4K video recording and live photos. More updates and details on the iPad Pro 2 are expected soon.
