‘Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom’ Release Date, Features & Update: Sequel No Longer Simple RPG; Focus On Kingdom Creation

Players who were delighted by the first "Ni No Kuni" game on the PlayStation 3 are in for a lot as a sequel is already on the works and it looks like this will be bigger and better than the first game. Reports say that the upcoming instalment called "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" will boast some big new features, enhanced gameplay and a whole lot more.

CEO of Level-5 Akihiro Hino spoke with Vandal and there revealed that "Ni No Kuni II" will feature a brand new feature looking forward to: a kingdom creation system. He adds that there will be a lot of new features that will accompany their move from the PlayStation 3 to the PlayStation 4 and that the upcoming game will not be a simple RPG.

A new game system which will focus on kingdom creation will be introduced in "Ni No Kuni II" and this could mean a lot of differences between this upcoming game and its predecessor. Aside from this, Hino has not revealed anything much but the platform upgrade from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4 will surely increase the many possibilities that can be done on this beautiful game.

The first "Ni No Kuni" game was an instant classic that was developed by Level-5 in collaboration with the multi-awarded and revered Studio Ghibli in world architecture, character design and soundtrack. This popular studio is known for its animated masterpieces which include "Spirited Away" and "My Neighbour Totoro."

In producing the first "Ni No Kuni" game, Studio Ghibli was responsible for the animated sequences and made use of great composers for the soundtrack which included Joe Hisaishi and Rei Kondo, writes PolygonHino also said last September that "Ni No Kuni II" has grown to be very massive and currently has the most staff members from Level-5 working on it.

He assures anticipating fans that his team is working day and night to iron out every intricate detail in "Ni No Kuni II" so that fans would get the sequel they deserve. It has also been confirmed that the game will have a more adult tone but will still appeal to both children and adults like in a Studio Ghibli animated feature.
