Every time casts and crews of "The 100" take the stage at Comic-Con, they always never miss to reveal one character who will make a comeback in the series' succeeding season.
Last year, showrunners announced the return of Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), this year, on the other hand, producer Jason Rothenburg revealed that Roan (Zach McGowan), also known as King of Ice Nation, will make a comeback in "The 100" Season 4, Fab Newz reports.
Yibada states that Luna (Nadia Hilker) will also make a return in the series. Actress Hilker has been seen multiple times shooting for "The 100" Season 4. Reports say that Luna's return is key to defeat another apocalypse coming to Earth.
It is bad news, though, for fans who want to still see Lexa on "The 100" Season 4 as showrunner Rothenburg already confirmed at the San Diego Comic-Con that it will be hard for their team to include Lexa in the upcoming season. One of the most favorite characters of the series had a controversial death in the previous season, Mic says.
Rothenburg specifically said that "The City of Light is gone, the flame exists, and all the minds of the commanders are in the flame," hinting that it will be hard to bring back Lexa that fast. "So Lexa's gone, she's not coming back to the show, but ultimately the flame is an important thing, it's a political artifact," he added.
"The 100" is a sci-fi drama TV series adaptation of a book with the same name released in year 2013. The story focuses on a group of teens who survived a nuclear apocalypse and was able to go back to Earth after the devastation. The CW Network renewed the series with 13 additional episodes for its fourth installment last March 11, 2016.
