While Apple is not releasing the newest iOS 10.2 update until December, the second developer's beta shows a sneak preview of some of the new features coming to iOS devices. Both iPad and iPhone will be getting a total of 72 new emojis. These include professions for men and women, sick faces, smileys, food essentials, and a whole lot more.
Apart from emojis, the latest iOS 10.2 also allows users to preserve their preferred camera settings instead of the default settings. Another thing that would definitely convince iOS users to upgrade to the latest software update is the emergency SOS feature. This lets the users call the authorities without requiring them to take the device out from their bag or pocket in case of emergency, according to CNET.
The iOS 10.2 also lets the users pick off where they left off in their text every time the click to open the full screen message from the preview or lock screen is done. Added to the message app is the all new Celebration screen filter as reported by CNET. Both iPhone 7 and 7 Plus users will also get three, new wall paper options. TV app will also be available to iOS devices once the update is made available.
Meanwhile, the new set of emojis are expected to bring more excitement and entertainment to iOS users, allowing them to express themselves even more. A grinning emoji would make a happy statement even better while a wailing emoji could further express total devastation. Some of the best, new emojis that users will be expecting include shushing smiley, hot pie, vampire, pretzel, starry eyed smiley, bearded man, and disc-shaped UFO.
More so, the iOS 10.2 also brings a bunch of new characters. These include graduates, girl on her laptop, art students, and more. The new emojis are designed to help users represent themselves freely in the best way possible. Watch video about iOS 10.2 best new features
