"Jurassic World 2" is currently in development and is said to be a sequel of the first film and the original "Jurassic Park" series. This means that in a way, "Jurassic World 2" will also serve as "Jurassic 5," according to director J.A. Bayona.
"Jurassic World 2" A.K.A. "Jurassic Park 5"
Cinema Blend revealed that according to Bayona, "Jurassic World 2" is both a sequel of "Jurassic World" and "Jurassic Park." It will definitely be the fifth chapter of a longer saga, which makes it both tricky and interesting. They were aiming to find a balance between what people were expecting to find, as well as new story elements.
"Jurassic World 2" will try to find a link between "Jurassic World" and Jurassic Park," more than what the first movie did. "Jurassic World" previously featured several familiar elements from the Steven Spielberg dinosaur series, which launched in 1993.
There were locations and pieces that may have given fans who watched the original film a bit of nostalgia. Some are even expecting characters from the original movie to return in "Jurassic World 2," joining main stars Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Dallas Howard).

At present, Trevorrow confirmed that "Jurassic Park 2" is the second chapter, and it will also open a third chapter. They will lead the plot to a place where the audience are not expecting.
Trevorrow will serve as co-writer and producer of "Jurassic World 2," while J.A. Bayona will take on the role of director. Both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise their roles in the upcoming film. The creative team also promised that the next movie will be scarier, featuring more new dinosaurs.
