“Chicago P.D.” Season 4 will treat fans with a two-hour action packed and highly dramatic midseason finale this week. It will kick off with episode 7 where Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and his team investigate the murder of a lone eyewitness to a rape case.
According to the official synopsis of the coming “Chicago P.D.” episode titled “300,000 Likes”, the Intelligence Unit of the department will look into the finances of the suspected serial rapist and his family to see if any of them could have ordered the hit on the eye witness.
In the same “Chicago P.D.” Season 4 episode, Detective Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) will get a job offer from “Chicago Justice” character Stone (Philip Winchester). It will be as the lead investigator for the State Attorney’s office. Antonio’s sister who is from “Chicago Fire”, Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) will visit her brother and the siblings will definitely talk about Antonio’s new job offer. As have been recently reported by TV Line, Seda will be leaving “Chicago P.D.” to move to the new spin-off series “Chicago Justice”. It is set to premiere next year.
The midseason finale of “Chicago P.D.” Season 4 will also feature Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Sorensen’s (guest star Kevin Kane) body cameras capturing a bizarre exchange with a man that the two pulled over.
The second hour of the “Chicago P.D.” midseason finale will be centered on a highly trained killer who is out to wage a war against the Chicago police department. In the episode titled “A Shot Heard Round the World”, a young officer is shot dead in the lobby of an apartment building according to Vine Report. Then, a second officer also drops dead and the team realizes that they are dealing with a killer who is highly trained and intelligent. The killer is also targeting members of the police force in the city.
Also in the second hour, Lindsay (Sophia Bush) will confront Antonio about his new job. Spoilers also say that some “Chicago Med” characters will be dropping by in the second half of the fall finale which will air on November 16 on NBC.
