In a recent clip, Janet Jackson's ex-husband James Debarge has revealed about their secret daughter. DeBarge, who was married to Jackson for a year back in 1984, dropped the bombshell in a video clip of the WE TV series Growing Up Hip Hop, reported International Business Times. Apparently, Fifty-three-year-old DeBarge's 26-year-old daughter Kristinia confronted him about an article hinting at his secret daughter with Jackson.
DeBarge and Jackson eloped in 1984 and got married the same year. However, the marriage lasted only a year and they split in 1985.In the Video Clip DeBarge revealed, "I'm tired of the secrecy... I'm tired of the truth not coming forward, and people being a coward when it comes to it. And I thought it was wise for me to speak out now because it needs to be addressed."
DeBarge also said that he did not know that he had a daughter with Jackson and was under the impression that they have no child together. He added that he wanted to believe that it's false.
ET recently approached Jackson's friend Tyler Perry who said Jackson guards her privacy very well. Perry informed, "She's just always been so extremely private and is laying low, and I just wish her all the best."He added, "I'm excited for her because I know what that means. I think that is going to give her a sense of fulfillment that she's never had before."
Ironically, the revelation is made when Janet Jackson is expecting her fist child with her Qatari business magnet husband Wissam Al Mana. In early October, Jackson confirmed the pregnancy rumors via People. The magazine showed a photo of the singer flaunting her baby bump, as stated by Inquisitr. Tito, Jackson's brother also confirmed the same in June.
