Apple Insider stated that the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 features the new butterfly mechanism keys and well-milled ports. The full-size keyboard has also been made smaller, although the Force Touch trackpad has become larger.
It continued the clamshell design of the previous MacBook, with rounded corners. The Apple MacBook Pro 2016 has been trimmed down to 0.59 inches in height. The Apple MacBook Pro 2016 also features an all-metal hinge and maintained the patented clutch mechanism for easy opening and closing.
The review by Apple Insider involved a 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro 2016 with a 2GHz Intel Core i5 chipset, an Intel Iris Graphics 540 GPU, 8GB of 1866MHz LPDDR3 RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage. The entire package is currently priced at $1,499.
The SSD and controller of the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 can reach sequential read speeds of 3.1 gigabytes per second, and write speeds of 2.1 gigabytes per second, which are faster than Windows laptops. In terms of processing images and videos, the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 runs smoothly, although there were times that it seemed to have difficulty coping, most likely due to the limited 8GB of RAM.

The laptop's speakers have reportedly been improved. The Apple MacBook Pro 2016 has a battery life of 10 hours.
The keyboard of the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is one of its best features, which is an improvement of the previous version. The new butterfly mechanism keyboard feels more responsive with workable keys.
