In a press release from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc., the company has announced "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will finally be released on February 3, 2017 in physical edition in selected countries. The package will come with the much awaited expansion pack "Road to Boruto" which is a game that fans and hardcore gamers have been anticipating for quite some time now.
The "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" physical edition is reported to be only released in selected countries namely Europe, Japan, and recently North America has been added in the list. The game will come with a retail price of $49.99 in physical edition and $19.99 for DLC vi Xbox One, Playstation 4 system, and STEAM.
The game will feature adult versions of Naruto and Sasuke equipped with move sets and fighting techniques that they know as adults. Moreover, "Road to Boruto" expansion pack will be a standalone game from "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" and will also feature the same adult version characters, complete with their costumes.
"Road to Boruto" is a combat, anime-style graphic game in story mode that gives fans a new kind of gameplay chronicling the adventures of Boruto Uzumaki. The story mode is said to be based from the BORUTO: Naruto the Movie so fans are already know how much excitement and action the game will bring. The expansion pack can be played both in offline and online free battle mode.
"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" was first released in June 2016 and sold more than 1.5 million copies in the international market. By September 12, 2016, BANDAI NAMCO announced that "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" has shipped about 2 million units. The game has been positively reviewed by critics including a 79% from Metacritic and a 7 out of 10 score from Gamespot.
