"Friday The 13th: The Game" is a multiplayer video game with eight characters to choose from including Jason Voorhees. The game is based on a horror movie in 1980.
Aside from the players acting as camp counselors at the Crystal Lake, rumors say that players can also choose to be Freddy and can fight with Jason in "Friday The 13th: The Game." Jason is reported to have enhanced hearing, vision and can even teleport anywhere. Now, that it is totally creepy and makes the game more exciting.
Jason can still be defeated in "Friday The 13th: The Game" but it will take a lot of teamwork and could be very difficult. Fans are wondering if Freddy's character will make it easier to defeat Jason. But, of course, it could entirely be another game mode for Freddy versus Jason.
To make the game feel more like the 1980 movie, Kane Hodder, who played the role of Jason in the film for four times, will coordinate the stunts and even reprise his role through motion capture. Ronnie Hobbs, the co-creator of "Friday The 13th: The Game," that the game will be Jason Voorhees versus seven typical people, who are perhaps just chilling on the fictional camp of Crystal Lake.
Hobbs also added during the interview that it took years to develop "Friday The 13th: The Game" as they have been brainstorming where to base it. The team has initially considered "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "A Nightmare on Elm Street" or "Killer Clowns from Outer Space."
