Sony seems to have a new hunting game in the making as the company is teasing a new Vita title in Japan which is probably the recently announced Panopticon. The game apparently belongs to the popular genre of "hard as nails multiplayer RPG" which in other words can be termed a hunting game.
Sony had previously listed a number of games such as Phantasy Star Online 2, Soul Sacrifice, Toukiden, Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, and God Eater 2 as the hunting games scheduled to land on the console in 2013. However, the mysterious title in question is now purported as the sixth title coming to Vita this year, Gematsu reports.
"Those circles (shown in the image above) are called marumaru, a commonly used placeholder symbol in Japanese. It means something is supposed to be there, but they're not quite at the point of telling you what it is yet," the report states.
While Sony is yet to name the title, it's rumored that this would be the recently teased Panopticon, a unofficial name given to an upcoming game from Sony, whose platform and genre are yet to be announced. It's expected that Sony would explain the mystery on May 21.
