This week on "The Blacklist" season 4, fans and viewers were treated to a shock when Elizabeth's father unveiled his identity. However, it still begs the question, is it true? Elizabeth's father unveiled himself to be Raymond Reddington (James Spader) when his life was put in danger by his biggest enemy.
In "The Blacklist" season 4's midseason finale, we saw Elizabeth captured by Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen), only for Red to take her place. Kirk agreed to the swap and when he got his hands on Red, he proceeded to inject him with medical concoctions.
A delirious Red eventually admitted to being the real father of Elizabeth in the midseason finale of "The Blacklist" season 4, as per TVLine. Fans and viewers were not convinced, however, that's why writer and executive producer Daniel Cerone took to Twitter to clear up any confusion.
I know what you’re thinking. Red NEVER lies. He said he wasn’t her father. But it will all make sense in end. #TheBlacklist @NBCBlacklist

Now that Elizabeth's father unveiled his identity, "The Blacklist" season 4's Cerone clarified on Twitter that Red was indeed telling the truth and that he "never lies." In addition, he promised that "it will all make sense in the end."
Entertainment Weekly's recap also shows how the notorious patient zero, who Red asked Dr. Shaw to find, says that Dr. Shaw can in fact cure him. Fans get to see Kirk almost wipe out Red's existence on Earth, just before Red tells him something the viewers cannot hear. It's one huge revelation that may be unveiled in the second half of "The Blacklist" season 4.
