Fans have been waiting for "Fallout 4" PlayStation 4 mods ever since Bethesda and Sony announced that they will be releasing them within the month. But, even before it even launches officially, Bethesda has already released a list of compatible tweaks that will be ready for use once "Fallout 4" PS4 mods launch.
109 mods available
Currently, the Bethesda website cites 109 unique options for "Fallout 4" PS4 mods. However, there exist a couple of restrictions for modding and mods creation within the game.
iDigitalTimes reported that the current mods are only restricted to assets found within the game. However, Bethesda earlier promised that they are in continuous negotiations with Sony to make sure that "Fallout 4" PS4 mods will have the same flexibility and features as the game's mods would on other platforms.
'Fallout 4' PS4 mods to anticipate
Among the "Fallout 4" PS4 mods that players should expect once it officially launches is the Portable Nuka Jetpack, the PS4 version of the "portable jetpack" in XBox One and PC. This would allow players to fly around the Commonwealth without fall damage.
Another "Fallout 4" PS4 mod is the Realistic Guns and Bullets Overhaul, which reworked several ranged weapons in Fallout 4. The mod brings more realism to the game by adjusting damage, accuracy, recoil, weight and AP cost, but requires the Automatron, Far Harbor and Nuka World DLCs to work.
Grenades and ballistic weaves
For players with the Nuka World DLC, there's also a "Fallout 4" PS4 mod for Nuka Grenade and Mining Crafting, which allows players to make nuka grenades. However, the mod requires Demolition Expert 3 and Science 2.
There's also a "Fallout 4" PS4 mod for unlocking ballistic weaves, which removes the requirement to complete quests before accessing the Ballistic Weave modifications for armor and clothing. More "Fallout 4" PS4 mods is sure to arrive, so stay tuned for more updates.
