"Dishonored 2" is one of the highly anticipated gaming titles for the year, however, its launch was marred with various issues for its PC version. Recently, Bethesda stated that it will release a game patch to address the gaming bugs.
Several "Dishonored 2" game reviews made mention of a few technical issues that affected the game's graphics and performance. Appearing only in the game's PC version, many players expressed their frustration in seeing how the game would struggle even at low graphic settings.
Social media sites and online gaming forums were filled with comments that highlighted bugs such as unstable framerates, mouse sensitivity, resolution issues and more. Despite positive feedback that described "Dishonored 2" as a fun stealth adventure game, some players even advised PC gamers to stay away from the said gaming title until a fix is deployed.
In response to the numerous feedback, Bethesda posted an announcement on its official website where the company promised to address the said PC bugs. It appears that the game publisher and game developer Arkane Studios are already preparing a patch that will soon be deployed to the PC version.
Bethesda's statement read, "We are actively working to provide an update to address your concerns. The patch and its release notes will be available in the coming days."
Some of the technical enhancements included in the upcoming "Dishonored 2" game patch will provide a more stable framerate, as well as a code to improve mouse sensitivity. Bethesda also advised PC players to follow the recommended game settings for a smoother gaming experience.
Adjusting the visual settings to Auto presets, as well as ensuring that PC units have updated graphic card drivers are just some of the gaming tips shared by Bethesda, Gamespot reported. Gamers are also advised to refrain from using the alt-tab command to switch from one screen to another.
