Fans of Merc with a mouth, Deadpool, have been eagerly waiting for news and updates on the latest Deadpool 2 movie. Now, despite all the challenges that the production team has been facing, including the departure of director Tim Miller and their composer Tom Holkenborg, reports that the 20th Centruy Fox is actually thinking and looking towards having a Deadpool 3 and X-Force crossover.
According to sources, a trade magazine that focuses on the numerous concerns of the X-Men universe mentioned that "Deadpool 3" was already being planned in the studio. Aside from "Deadpool", the report was talking about how Hugh Jackman will be ending his role as Wolverine after Logan will be launched next year. Aside from that, they are also facing the rising cost of their actors and how they will be Making Gambit, take off. The reports mentioned that the plans for "Deadpool 3" talked about how Deadpool will be appearing alongside the X-Force, the mutant team that he worked with in the comics.
The Empire Online reported that the crossover will most likely happen if Deadpool plays nicely with the other teams. It is also mentioned that an X-force movie is already in development and that Jeff Wadlow from "Kick-Ass 2", has been hired to work on the script about two years ago. There has been no news since then that is why speculations have surfaced that maybe the plan is to launch Deadpool together with the X-force and then have a spin-off.
Before "Deadpool 3" can take off though, the team has to make sure that "Deadpool 2" will actually make it on the big screen. Ryan Reynolds together with the writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, should already be ironing out the script by now.
Final negotiations for a new director for "Deadpool 2" is already on-going and John Wick's co-director, David Leitch, is currently the favorite pick of the team. It is also speculated that a new director for "Deadpool 3" is already being considered as well.
