'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ Guide: How to Unlock Kaioken & Super Saiyan Technique

The Kaioken and Super Saiyan are two of the most favorite technique in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2". However unlocking it are not as easy as it looks. Even some masters of the game take a while before they get this technique. Fortunately, this guide provides players exactly how to unlock the powerful techniques.

Unlocking Kaioken Technique

The first step in unlocking this technique in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is to play through Saiyan Saga mode. Then go to Parallel Quest 8 which is Invade Earth and eliminate all the villains except for Nappa. Nappa must survive so the player can fight a revived Goku. Defeating Goku is not easy but doing so will get the Kaioken technique. There's just one catch, getting the Kaioken as a reward is completely random so the player may need to fight Goku again and again until they get it.

Unlocking Super Saiyan Technique

Unlocking the Super Saiyan technique in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" can be a bit challenging. The player must first be level 40 or higher. If not, do whatever it needs to reach that level so they can be one step closer to claiming their one of their favorite technique. Once in the right level, the player must battle with Vegeta in the Capsule Corp. time and win over him twice. Then talk to Trunks and Bulma to finally trigger the player's chance to claim the technique. A battle between the player and tag team Goku and Vegeta in Super Saiyan forms will take place. The player will be allowed to use the same technique so winning against the two is not that hard. Winning the battle automatically earns the player the Super Saiyan technique.

Super Saiyan VS Kaioken Technique

Between the two techniques, Super Saiyan technique is definitely worth getting first in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" than Kaioken. Although Kaioken is an active technique, it also drains the stamina of the player. Stronger Kaioken equals to bigger stamina taken from the player which can actually make the player lose in a battle, particularly if he misses his shot as his enemy makes a powerful counter attack.
