In the last few weeks, Nexus 6P owners have experienced battery life issues with their devices. People hope, however, that the November 2016 patch of Android 7.1 Nougat could fix this vulnerability and other recurring problems with Nexus 6P.

As per GigJets, Google cannot disregard these issues with Nexus 6P so the tech giant is probably working on some bug fixes to solve these. Luckily, the Android 7.1 Nougat new patch has few bug fixes that, hopefully, can solve the battery issues. No specific details, however, are mentioned how Google can solve this problem.
Google did not offer heavy details about the matter, upon consideration of the devices that do not have the Android 7.1 Nougat update yet. This is to protect these devices from hackers that might take advantage of the vulnerabilities of the previous build, as per the report of Android Headlines. One of the several vulnerabilities that were fixed, however, is the remote code execution present in mediaserver and Qualcomm's crypto driver.
Google started rolling out the Android 7.1 Nougat update last November 7. Along with Nexus 6P, as the report continues, other Google devices that can download the November 2016 Security Patch update include Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Nexus 5X, and Nexus 6.
Likewise, the Verizon version of the Pixels can also get the Android Nougat updates. The Pixel and the Pixel XL have builds labeled as NDE63U, NDE63V, and NDE63X and the Verizon's are to get NDE63X that are based on Android 7.1 Nougat.
The other devices are getting Android 7.0 Nougat, with the Pixel C having the NRD91N build, the Nexus 6 having the NBD91P build, the Nexus 9 having the NRD91N build, the Nexus Player having the NRD91N build, the Nexus 5X having the NRD91N build, and lastly, the Nexus 6P having the NRD91N build.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
