The Samsung Gear S3 will be available for preorder and shipping out to the public very soon. Preorders started on Nov.6, but AT&T accepted preorders on Nov.4, earlier than the rest of its rivals. When it comes to release date, it is expected to begin shipping out on Nov.18 and hit the shelves on the same day.
Samsung Gear S3's starting price is $349.99 for both Frontier and Classic. Pricing, however, has not been exactly confirmed just yet, as it will most probably depend on the carrier. AT&T put it up for grabs for $17.50 per month for 20 month, Value reported.
With the Samsung Gear S3 approaching launch, the real question is most likely about the difference between the Classic and Frontier. To make it short, the Classic could be tagged as the elegant while the latter is the rugged version. The former, however, has a number of advantages, which include the LTE support.
The two Samsung Gear S3 run on Tizen-based wearable operating system with GPS function. Both is equipped with 1.3-inch displays protected by a Gorilla Glass SR+ to avoid unsightly scratches. More so, both have stainless steel bodies and Exynos processors.
Under the hood, both Samsung Gear S3 devices house 4GB of storage and 786MB of RAM. They are powered by 380 mAh batteries, making them last for up to three days. Apart from that, MST Technology is also included.
Meanwhile, Samsung has successfully launched the dual-display Android flip phone W2016 exclusively for China, Gadget360 reported. After almost a year, the company announced the successor to the aforementioned phone, the W2017, which boasts a dual-display as well as a fingerprint scanner.
