'The Batman' Release Date, News & Updates: The Script Is A Total Mess, Is It True?

Perhaps, no one knows when "The Batman" is coming in theaters. However Ben Affleck, who portrays the role of the character in the title, knows that he is into a promising film of the Warner Bros.' DC slate.

In fact, it is not the only reason why's he will become the highlight of the "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice". There are speculations that he wants to direct the movie himself. In the first place, Affleck is doing all things right for the project and he is also planning to collaborate with Geoff Johns. Yet, they are still on the process of getting things right.

On the other hand, Bret Easton Ellis the author of "American Psycho" said that fans should control their temper with regard to their expectations in the movie. According to him, the script of Affleck's "The Batman" is "a total mess". Affleck, however, claimed that Warner Bros. doesn't care about it.

Ellis also thought that Affleck's "The Batman" is just a part of the big series of the movie by The Ringer. However, don't think that Ellis is biased, since he confessed that he is really a fan of "Batman vs. Superman".

Wondering why he said that? He said in a report in Gizmodo that he ate dinner with some executives who are also working on the "Batman" movie. He said that these executives were telling him that they are having problems with the script. He adds that there are 30 things pointed out to be wrong that should be fixed.

However, executives really don't care because in the first place, 70 percent of the audience worldwide will not be seeing the movie in English according to Slash Film.

Well, all that is left to all is to wish that Ellis is not right. "The Batman" has no official release date yet but there are speculations that they will start 2017 for a 2018 or 2019 release.
