According to Wired, "Gameroom" provides access to games without cluttering the newsfeed. Players can install the client then log in with their Facebook account. However, gaining access to each game requires access to the player's Facebook profile. Hence, players always need to connect to Facebook and this makes offline gaming impossible.

As reported by Kompas, players of the "Gameroom" only need a laptop or computer desktop. The operating system should be at least Windows 7. Hence, users can easily gain access to "Gameroom."
