"Deadpool 2" is an idea that has been quite popular since the success of the first film, but the movie may be stepping on more than just one obstruction as it comes forth. Continuous losses around the team behind the film seem to be slowing things down if not stopping production completely.
Marvel's supposed "Deadpool 2" already gave out quite a big promise even during the time when the movie was still running. As much as there is something at stake for the sequel, the troubles may also be building up quite intensely, starting with the departure of the original director, Tim Miller.
According to a recent Facebook post, Miller was reported on exiting or dropping "Deadpool 2" for one drastic reason -- creative differences between him and Wade Wilson himself, Ryan Reynolds. Now, another leg of the team has been cut from the puzzle, namely the musical composer Tom Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL. As to why the said composer wished to exit, it is but the mere fact that Miller is no longer directing.
To be precise, Holkenborg had a heavy heart as he announced his departure from "Deadpool 2" but he believed that he cannot take the weight of working on it without Miller. He even added that he somewhat had to undergo "soul searching" to come up with the decision on the matter, ending up abandoning the project entirely.
As finding the right people to fit in "Deadpool 2" may be crucial at this point -- whether on or off screen -- there are those who voiced out what could turn out to a possible advantage for the film. Some reports point to the rumor of Arnold Schwarzenegger as to play the role of the mutant Cable, who may attract a massive fan base to say the least. Given that the "Terminator" himself is no stranger to mutant or metahuman roles, he is said to be more than qualified with his looks, physique and even comic skills.
Regardless of what can transpire for "Deadpool 2" eventually, fans will most likely stay on track until a concrete announcement for the movie comes forth. The film is slated to release on January 12, 2018 so stay locked here for further news and updates.
