"Pokemon GO" update brings a lot of good news to all players. Among its changes are removing bummer pokemons from the rarest eggs and minimizing Pidgey appearances.
Community members discovered that Eevee, a pokemon that evolves into eight different Pokemons, can be hatched out from a five-kilometer egg, according to Polygon. For players who have been playing the augmented mobile game since it was launched, it is a big deal because many of them cracked open many eggs that require far more steps, then they will find a normal-type instead of the desirable pokemons.
Previously, this pokemon can be hatched from a 10-kilometer egg. The eggs can be received after they level up or visiting a pokestop. No one can predict which type of egg they can get from aforementioned sources.
Another frustration of "Pokemon GO" players is walking 6.2 km to hatch an egg, but instead of Snorlax, they will get an Eevee. Now, hatching an Eevee requires only a few steps.
Many players may return playing "Pokemon GO" after this update, but that remains to be seen. Aside from removing bummer Pokemon, Niantic Lab has released a new egg line up. This update followed the global Halloween event that ended on Nov. 1.
The new update also includes minimizing the Pidgey appearances, according to The Guardian. This update may bring joy to the players who have been playing since "Pokemon GO" was launched. Those who are in higher levels have encountered Pidgeys many times in different places. With this update, players have a higher chance to get new and rare Pokemons.
With the series of update released by Niantic for "Pokemon GO", it might satisfy players in the coming days. There are rumors suggesting that Niantic may hold another holiday event as its Halloween event garnered the highest revenue, earning approximately $23.3 million.
