Beloved characters in the ABC series "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will have to deal with the Evil Queen's latest plan to destroy everything and everyone in Storybrooke. The upcoming episode 7 will feature Snow and David's quest to save the town while Emma and Hook prepare for an impending battle.
"Once Upon a Time" protagonists will be faced with a mysterious threat enclosed inside a small bottle. Handed over to Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin), the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) warns of a 12 hour timeline before the said threat unleashes its destructive power in Storybrook. However, the Evil Queen is willing to halt her plans in exchange for Snow and David's (Josh Dallas) hearts, according to episode spoilers posted on Spoilers Guide.
"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 episode 7 will also feature Snow and David's quest to find a magical sapling to help save Storybrooke without having to sacrifice their shared hearts. Titled "Heartless," the two characters will be joined by Regina (Parilla) to locate the said sapling that has the power to defeat the Evil Queen's mysterious threat-in-a-bottle.
To prepare for the impending threat, Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will team up with Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) and other characters to stop the Evil Queen. The said villain's blooming romance with Gold (Robert Carlyle) may potentially serve the Evil Queen's weakness that Regina (Parilla) will try to exploit.
Viewers will also see David's past life as a shepherd who embarked on a journey to find a buyer for his family's farm. The said episode will even tackle Snow's struggles as she tries to hide from a bounty hunter inside the Enchanted Forest.
Meanwhile, the events of episode 7 may potentially lead to David's impending brush with darkness. An upcoming episode will have the said character considering a dark and vengeful act against the person who killed his father.
Showrunner Edward Kitsis told Entertainment Weekly that an upcoming "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 episode will pursue the said storyline. Kitsis added, "[David's] certainly wrestling with something, and how it impacts inversely in his relationships with Snow and his family is part of the story, as well as the ultimate answer to the mystery."
