The Pokemon Sun and Moon release date will surely send Pokemon lovers 'over the moon' as a new wave of creatures to find, catch and train will come with it. On November 18, 2016, Pokemon Sun and Moon will be available in the market exclusively in Nintendo 2DS & 3DS models.
A Special Demo Version of the game was released exactly one month prior to the launching of the actual game. Trainers may obtain their own hard copy in stores or through online purchases. For the same price, a digital copy of Pokemon Sun and Moon can also be purchased through Nintendo eShop.
Unlike other Pokemon games, The Pokemon Sun and Moon game will have no Pokemon Gyms or Pokemon Leagues. It has been reported that the game is set to take place in a new region called Alola. The Alola region is composed of four islands including one artificial island. A guardian deity settles in each of the islands. As trainers explore the new area to catch monsters, they will be seeing lots of palm trees and sunny beaches which resembles that of the islands of Hawaii.
New forms of pocket monsters from older generation can be found in Pokemon Sun and Moon. According to Eurogamer, some of the pocket monsters that will be included in the new line-up are Rowlet (a kind of flying grass) Litten (fire kind) and Popplio (water type). In order to adapt and survive their given environment, these new Alolan Forms will have a different appearance and traits. The total number the new monsters has yet to be confirmed.
One of the super cool features in the new Pokemon Sun and Moon is the Z-Moves. Trainers can use this extremely powerful attack per battle. However, some Z-moves can only be exclusively used by certain Pokemon. Pokemon Sun and Moon will also be featuring a new guide for this generation. Trainers will be offered their starter Pokémon by Professor Kukui who is very passionate about his researches. It is an advantage for the trainers that he lives near their homes as they can seek help from him easily.
Another attribute which will be featured in the Pokemon Sun and Moon is the Poke Finder. This feature will allow the trainers to take pictures of the monsters they caught. In addition, a Qr code scanner function can also be found in the game. This will allow the trainers to see the details of a certain Pokemon when a Qr pattern is scanned. Also, habitats of Pokemon which trainers have not caught become searchable by scanning a Qr Code
