As the release date of her new movie draws closer, Emma Watson reveals some Beauty And The Beast spoilers. The Harry Potter star will be playing the iconic role of Belle.
Just recently, Entertainment Weekly has released Beauty and The Beast spoilers through their exclusive release of photos from the film. Emma Watson could be seen wearing the classic yellow dress that her character, Belle, wore in the original story. Dan Stevens, who plays the Beast, was posing in the library while Kevin Kline, is Maurice, Belle's inventor father.
Similar to its animated counterpart, the live adaptation of Beauty And The Beast will also show the other villainous characters. Luke Evans plays Gaston, the lead villain who always has his sidekick, Cogsworth who will be played by Ian McKellan. The trio, Mrs. Potts, Lumiere and Plumette will be portrayed by Emma Thompson, Ewan McGregor and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, respectively.
Fans were excited as sources revealed how Emma Watson and Dan Stevens will look like in the movie. The yellow dress was stunning and according ot EW, they tested a lot of yellows and were trying to make sure the tone was just right. The dress is made of silk but they opted for a satin finish to make sure that it was less transparent than other organza.
Emma Watson wanted her dresses to be less restrictive because her reinterpretation of Belle is an active princess. Her wardrobe choices will also be more realistic compared to the animated version. "My Belle is very practical" mentioned Emma Watson.
According to Emma Watson's Beauty and The Beast spoilers, the storyline differs slightly from the cartoons. Watson's Belle will actually be the inventor and not her father. A back story was developed to explain why she didn't really fit in and why she had all the time to read her books. In the movie, Belle invented a washing machine so that she will have more time sitting and reading while waiting for the laundry to finish.
The Beauty and the Beast release date is slated on March 17, 2017. For now, fans will have to settle with news about Emma Watson and the upcoming details of the movie.
