Smartphone users waiting for the arrival of the OnePlus 4 may need to extend their patience for a few months more. Details on the release of the device recently revealed that it could come out on the second or third quarter of the year.
Release date
Information on the upcoming OnePlus installed indicated that it could be released by June or July 2017. Another big thing to expect from the phone is the rumored Snapdragon 830 chipset that will come with it.
This chipset, which is still reportedly being tested, will come with an octacore setup, 4k display resolution and 8GB of RAM. Clocked at 3.6GHz, the Snapdragon 830 chipset will be one of the major features of the OnePlus 4 and is also expected to be introduced on the Samsung Galaxy S8.
Camera, battery specs
Apart from these features, the OnePlus 4 is also thought to have a 23-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel secondary shooter. Its battery will also be bigger and more powerful at 4,000mAh unit.
Many are asking for a more consistent battery, less issues and a more affordable price. The Microsoft Surface Phone is believed to cost around $400.

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei has surveyed players users of the phone if they still like to have earphone jacks. It was also noted that he may not only ask for the opinion of the public on this subject matter but as well as the overall appearance or design of the phone.
