Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) will be in the middle of a dangerous situation in this week’s “Chicago Fire” Season 5 episode airing on Tuesday. With lives on the line, he is forced to resort to extreme measures in order to save lives that may include his own.
In “Nobody Else is Dying Today”, episode 4 of “Chicago Fire” Season 5, Casey is checking out a warehouse as part of his responsibilities as an Alderman. Suddenly, a forklift will accidentally pierce through a tank containing acid. A hazardous acid spill results that will put Casey’s as well as a father and his daughter’s lives in danger.
Elsewhere in the same “Chicago Fire” episode, Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Brett (Kara Killmer) will respond to call on an elderly woman who has a difficult senior advocate. Brett will also continue working on her secret project with Mouch (Christian Stolte). Otis (Yuri Sardarov) reveals an exciting news as he prepares to go on a special expedition.
Meanwhile, Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) will not be doing well in their relationship. According to the interview of “Chicago Fire” EP Michael Brandt with Entertainment Weekly,
Severide being Severide, is not ready to be tied down just yet. Although Kidd is the kind of girl that he would be attracted to, she is also not the kind who will fall for his antics.
Brandt revealed that true to what their characters are, neither of them would want nor ready to make the full moves towards the other one in “Chicago Fire” Season 5. Meanwhile, Mayo granted an interview with
Cartermatt where she teased that the hit NBC drama sequel’s 100th episode will have an emotional storyline.
According to the actress, fans and viewers of “Chicago Fire” should be prepared to do some crying during the episode’s airing. It couldn’t be helped that fans make the speculation that another character will be leaving the series. Recently, Steven McQueen departed from the show where his character sustained several injuries while saving a woman in a car accident.
There are now speculations that another actor is set to leave “Chicago Fire”. One of its lead actors, Taylor Kinney, is being pointed to as the one. No confirmation on this matter has been made however.
But, going back to Mayo’s interview, she went on to reveal that the tears she earlier talked about will be in fact, happy tears as there will be a lot of beautiful things that will come together that the viewers will be overjoyed to see in the milestone episode of “Chicago Fire”. Among these is a possible crossover included in the “Chicago” franchise.
