After his kickboxing debut at York Hall, reports of Idris Elba spending some romantic time with Madonna began to surface. This left the fans and the media to question if he is sleeping with the Material Girl singer.
On Monday, the actor of The Wire put an end to this speculation that he and Madonna are involved in a romantic relationship. Idris made it clear to his nearly 2 million followers on Twitter that he and Madonna are not sleeping together.
"Am I sleeping with Madonna? No m--f--..." Idris tweeted. "Don't believe the Hype." As reported by People, Idris Elba attended the event at York Hall for his first kickboxing match for the new TV show, Idris Elba: Fighter. Soon after, Idris and Madonna were spotted at the London's M Restaurant which seemed to be exchanging smooches and passionately embracing each other. Madonna has yet to comment on the said rumor.
As per Daily Mail, a source said that Idris and Madonna were inseparable at a party. They were seen dancing, smooching and mingling a bit more. The insider also added that the two only had their eyes for each other.
Just like other spectators, Madonna filmed the fight. But her post on her social media account just fueled the speculation even more. It spread like a wildfire after the singer uploaded several snapshots of Idris' throwdown in her Snapchat and Instagram. The pop singer also shared a Snapchat story featuring the Luther star on the floor with their heads together and with the caption "I kicked his butt."
Aside from being an actor and a fighter, Idris is also a DJ and apparently he and Madonna worked together after she hired him during her Rebel Heart tour in 2015. Idris Elba: Fighter will be aired early of 2017.
