Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has recently been unmasked with an appearance analogous to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The phone has the same curved design as the Samsung phone. Moreover, the phone boasts camera features unlike any other.
Xiaomi Global VP Hugo Barra recently went to Twitter to post the full specs of the recently revealed Xiaomi Mi Note 2. However, the phone is still being sold only in China without news of when it will be distributed globally. On the other hand, customers overseas may place their orders via Chinese importers like Gearbest that have the handset in stock beginning Nov. 1.
The handset revealed as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 rolled out with a stylish curved design on the front and back analogous to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The Mi Note 2 also features a 5.7 inch OLED display and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC that clocks in at a maximum of 2.3GHz.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has three variants including a 4GB RAM handset, 64GB and 128GB variants with UFS 2.0 storage. The latest device also has a 22.56MP Sony IMX318 Exmor sensor with f/2.0 lens and EIS digital stabilization to capture 4K videos. The camera also boasts a 3-axis gyroscope, hybrid PDAF and contrast autofocus system ideal for low light pictures.
In other news, the company recently announced a handset set to conquer the shrinking bezel wars. After rolling out the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, the company announced the 6.4 inch edge-to-edge Xiaomi Mi Mix. The phone features an ultrasound feature and piezoelectric speaker to replace the receiver, TechNewsWorld reported.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to roll out worldwide while the new edgeless handset will remain in China. It has recently been confirmed that the company will focus on domestic sales for the Xiaomi Mi Mix.
