The source added that this is also the reason why Square Enix decided to delay the much awaited game.
As of the moment, the Japanese tech giant has yet to provide concrete details with regard to the development of the new PlayStation 4 Pro. However, many fans believe that Sony will reveal significant information about the new gaming system before its big launching. Meanwhile, according to a report by Express, industry expert Michael Goodman believes that Sony is making a big mistake releasing the new PlayStation 4 Pro next month. According to the Strategy Analytics analyst, the company should not launch the new console in just less than a month from its PlayStation VR headset.
"It is a little bit surprising but Sony has a lot of stuff going on at the moment," Goodman said. "I would argue that having so many products in the marketplace at the same time is actually not helping Sony because they are splitting the consumer dollar."
