Comedy-drama TV series "Devious Maids" has ended with its fourth season but a lot of fans are still hoping it will air for another season. The show's last season is also expect to come to France soon.
Still hopeful
Fans have posted their hopes of coming up with another season on Twitter and tagged the show's writer and executive producer Curtis Kheel. Many said that the four seasons of "Devious Maids" also marked four amazing years for the viewers.
Kheel earlier announced the cancellation of the show which shocked a lot of loyal viewers of the show. "October 1 marks the definitive end of the adventure options of the cast have now expired, which means that the series can not go anywhere thanks to our incredible fans to have.. kept hope! But unfortunately no other solution available to us. it's really over," he explained.
Declining ratings
Lifetime's television offering was greatly appreciated by viewers when it debuted three years ago. More than 3 million viewers reportedly watched the Season 1 finale of "Devious Maids."
However, as the show progressed, the ratings also declined. Season 4 only had less than 1 million viewers. Perhaps, this was one of the biggest factors considered by the TV network when it decided to end the show.
Season 4 coming to France
Though it has ended airing in the Unites States, viewers from France will still be treated to the fourth season of "Devious Maids" which will be showed on Teva beginning November 20. They are in for 10 "bloody episodes" expected to also make them all laugh.
"Devious Maids" tells the story of maids Zoila, Valentina, Marisol, Rose and Carmen, who are all working for wealthy families in Beverly Hills. It is a story of friendship for these women who serve as the support system of each one in the neighborhood where they are working.
