It has been 10 years since Sega released the "Sonic The Hedgehog" game. This became available to all Xbox 360 and PS3 users. It was said to be Sonic's setback as it was poorly received by its fans. Hence, loyal supporters are not only playing the said game but also, they are getting their hands into the game's framework for the game to be fully developed and "Sonic Utopia" was made.
'Sonic Utopia' Released!
BGR reported that Sonic allows their avid fans, almost every year, to gather and meet for the Sonic Amateur Games Expo or Sage. This event gives the loyal supporters to share their own enhanced Sonic game version. They are also allowed to give out videos or links to download their developed product and one of them is "Sonic Utopia."
For Sage 2016, "Sonic Utopia" is one of the 50 finished and unfinished projects. According to its developers, this is just his experiment to get "Sonic The Hedgehog," a 3D experience. Also, they want to achieve and capture the Sonic's best style.
'Sonic Utopia' Is Still In A Raw State?
PC Gamer reported that "Sonic Utopia" is a fan-made game and still in the very basic state but the game gives an experience to an open world setting. This hit newly released game made by fans is aimed to be an enjoyable version of the game classic. They wanted to make it from their knowledge, ideas, imaginations and concepts. This is why they claimed that their project was closely made from scratch.
Developers of "Sonic Utopia" said that they have been working on this project for quite some time. They are really just waiting for the Sage's yearly event for the fan-made game to be launched. Avid supporters are now waiting for the Sonic's next move if they're going tie an agreement with Mr. Lange and co-developers and adapt their version of the "Sonic The Hedgehog."
