This will probably the last surge for the month and Microsoft is giving us three more titles in the Xbox One backwards compatibility list. In a recent revelation by Larry Hryb, also known as Major Nelson, he announced the three new titles mainly "Rage," "Killer Is Dead" and "Shred Nebula."
Take note that, "Rage" is only available on disc and is not a downloadable game on the Xbox One console. Meanwhile, "Killer Is Dead" and "Shred Nebula" on the Xbox One backwards compatibility update will automatically appear on the Xbox One Store. But unless you did not previously owned the two games on the Xbox 360, you can purchase "Killer is Dead" for $20 and "Shred Nebula" for $5.
Previously, according to the Gamespot, the Xbox One backwards compatibility featured the Orange Box that contained "Half Life 2: Episode 2," "Portal" and "Team Fortress 2." The rest of the recent backwards compatible list include "Galaga Legions" and "Joe Danger 2: The Movie."
Today, players are still waiting for the "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" arriving on the backwards compatibility feature. The moment when it was briefly included in the Xbox One backwards compatibility list few weeks ago, drew much anticipation, until Microsoft unceremoniously took it from the list. Microsoft then released a statement on twitter saying, it was a mistake putting it up on the list. Nevertheless, fans have seen it and now, they can't stop but wonder, just when the right time will be?
Currently, the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature is one of the best thing that ever happened to the Xbox One console. More players were able to consider buying the platform because they can now play their favorite Xbox 360 games on the current gen platform. Something that the PS4 doesn't currently have.
