They were demanding fair compensation even for the simple damage consumers have suffered from Samsung Galaxy Note 7 cases, according to Attorney Peter Young-Yeel Ko, head of the Harvest Law Firm. There were 527 plaintiffs who were demanding to compensate them from every cost they spent from visiting the shops for the exchange of their phones.

However Samsung announced last Monday that customers who replace their smart phones can get 50 percent discounts on upgrades to Galaxy S8 or Note 8 next year, but they have to return their Samsung Galaxy Note 7. There was no compensation for customers who doesn't have a plan to replace their smart phones.
