After 11 years of marriage, Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman are finally calling it quits. The director reportedly filed for divorce, although the two have been rumored to be separated since November 2015.
Beckinsale and Len Wiseman met on the set of the 2003 vampire film, "Underworld." The actress is the star of the franchise, while Wiseman served as director.
In the meantime, Kate Beckinsale is preparing for the launch of "Underworld 5: Blood Wars," which Len Wiseman helped write and produce. Kate previously shared that when she and the director had arguments, they would rather keep it private by texting, since they spend a lot of time together on set.
TMZ reported that Kate Beckinsale, 43, and Len Wiseman, 43 were married in 2004 and have no children together. Before marrying the director, Beckinsale dated actor Michael Sheen for eight years before they parted ways in 2003.
They have a daughter together, Lily Sheen, who is now a teenager. Kate Beckinsale still maintains good relations with Len Wiseman and only has kind words for him.
Their friends reportedly know about their marital woes. One insider said that the two have been apart for a while. Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman allegedly tried to make the relationship work, but still ended up falling back into old habits and fighting. In the past months, Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman have been spotted without their wedding rings.
The two were last seen having dinner at The Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles in June 2015. The "Total Recall" director was also seen spending time with model CJ Franco. CBS News revealed that Len Wiseman filed to divorce Kate Beckinsale on Oct. 21, 2016. The court documents stated that their date of separation has yet to be determined.
