‘Xbox One S’ News Update: Dolby Atmos Audio Seen as Next to Arrive on the Microsoft Console

The Xbox One series is reinforcing after news revealed that, the Dolby Atmos audio will be included in the line. So far, Microsoft with their Xbox lines has ventured on the software, game lineup and physical look of the console. That's leaves the audio of the device at the far end of the package.

That's about to change because yesterday, during the Microsoft Event 2016, the Windows 10 Creator's Edition introduced the all new Dolby Atmos audio. It will be able to support the Xbox One's Ultra HD Blu-ray drive via the beatStream.

The EndGadget explains that, the Dolby Atmos audio may not be as technologically advance as PS3's 3D Blu-ray playback, but the news came as a big update for the audio files of the console. In a twitter post by Mike Ybarra, he said "Yes bitstreaming and Atmos will work on all Xbox One products not just Xbox One S, for both video and games that support it."

The news that Dolby Atmos audio will be available to all Xbox series came as a surprise. Previously it was mentioned that, it will only be available on the Xbox One S. Microsoft's drive to include the audio host started with the inclusion of mainstream games that need the excellent power of the Atmos audio.

Aside from the Dolby Atmos audio, the recent Microsoft Event 2016 also introduced the all new Surface Studio, the Windows 10 OS and the gaming updates for the Xbox One console. Also included were lines of Surface Book that until now, fans are still enjoying discovering.
