'Dragon Quest Builders' Latest News & Updates: Square Enix Could Expand More of Franchise Soon After Japan Success; Fans' Feedback Vital?

"Dragon Quest Builders" is the next best thing that is to befall the community of Square Enix followers. Given that the company seemingly had a target audience during the many years of its existence, the team behind the new game looks to make the "Dragon Quest" saga known even more all across the globe.

As some may know, Square Enix has presented only the best games to the world up to this day, such as the "Final Fantasy" and the "Legend of Zelda" franchise. Now, a new contender is set to enter the playing field with a concept a little distinct from the others. "Dragon Quest Builders" has become a common name that many are to enjoy further, hopefully among the Western territories as well.

As per an interview with MCV, Producer Noriyoshi Fujimoto stated that Square Enix could potentially release more than just "Dragon Quest Builders" to the other territories, but also others of the series. The said series could face a great opportunity and make other fanbases from the rest of the world, mostly those who have not tried it yet. The diverse feel, starting with "Dragon Quest Builders," is expected to push Square Enix even further and succeed more.

The "Dragon Quest Builders" title has already made a killing in Japan, as Fujimoto stated, making it one other title to not rule out. Launched earlier this month for the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita, the title takes on a "Minecraft"-esque approach and is expected to be joined soon by the "Dragon Quest XI" game. Square Enix admits that the title is still a work in progress and will be released not so distantly in the future.

While "Dragon Quest Builders" is looking over the horizon for some people, reports of those who managed to get their hands on the title have already gone all over the web. Arguably, some think that the game is quite better than the comparable "Minecraft," which at this point can still change in favor of the majority.

Overall, "Dragon Quest Builders" has looked marvelous to the company, but stopping now could be something that will not help Square Enix too well. That being said, stay locked for the next move that Square Enix will engage in, here at GamenGuide.
