Simulation game "Farming Simulator 17" was released on Tuesday and gamers who have yet to get the game are in for some surprises with new machines, mods and vehicles. The instalment now enables users to play as a female character.
Independent video game publisher Focus Home Interactive said they want to promote diversity in the game so they included the female character option. "The ability to play as a female farmer reflects the diversity and ever-expanding industry of agriculture," Focus Home added noting that the gender choice will be offered when the game starts.
Female farmer
Aside from being able to play as a female farmer and customize one's clothes, gamers can also get the services of women workers. The scope of their work include harvesting, plowing and fertilizing.
When the "Farming Simulator 15" was released for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 25, it gave players improvements on the gameplay like the in-game radio which will play electronic, rock, country and pop music through its four channels. Some players were amused with the available songs for the game which helps break some scenes on "Farming Simulator 15."
Additional mods
In addition, there are also more mods coming for gamers. With the current 14 mods available for the gamers, the developer of the simulation game is expected to add more after the release. Players just need to be a little more patient for these added features.
The farming game gives players the chance to tend their crops and farm animals. They can also use the more than 200 farming vehicles available on "Farming Simulator 17." The game, which can be also played online and accommodate 16 players, can be bought for $34.99.
