Tim Tebow appeared on "Good Morning America" recently to share his baseball experience which may not end out the way he had hoped to be. For now, all he cares about is living his dream and showing his passion for the game despite getting criticism left and right for the shortcoming he has behind the bat.
"I’m so passionate about the game and pursuing it and playing every day is just so much fun," Tebow said, via TMZ. "It’s amazing when you do something for the love of it."
For Tebow, given the chance to play another sport after a failed stint in the NFL is a blessing. He bares how he got pushed out of pro football and told he was not good enough to play the sport.
Right now, he has been hearing a lot of that, led no less by Keith Law who was not shy to offer his take on the 29-year-old Filipino-American. Law slammed Tim Tebow and the New York Mets for lining him up with the Scottsdale Scorpions in the Arizona Fall League, as mentioned in a piece he wrote for ESPN Insider.
Seeing Tebow in the minors is obviously a ploy to draw in the fans and get some revenue out of it. It is a harsh reality that the former NFL player is likely aware of as we speak.
Despite having played the game during high school, Tebow chose football over it. And as one would guess, there were glaring holes in his game which could one day come to an end.
There is no word on when this could happen but the fact is that Tebow is simply enjoying baseball for as long as he can. After this, he is likely to return to what he is known to do best – help people in need through the guidance of Christ.
