The next season of American drama television series "Homeland" will shoot some of its scenes in New York City, a Showtime executive recently revealed. Fans are excited to see how the upcoming season of the TV show will proceed with its story. Showtime president David Nevins disclosed during the press tour of the Television Critics Association on Tuesday that "Homeland" will be shot partly in the Big Apple. "[It will be] "set primarily in the New York area, not exclusively," he noted.
Real terror attacks
The television executive also shared that he had a conversation with the show's executive producer Alex Gansa a day after the bloody attack in Paris last November. The latter was traveing to Berlin at that time to shoot a crucial terror attack scene for the season finale. Nevins said the story of "Homeland" was already finalized way before the terrorism attacks in various parts of the world happened.
Explaining how the team envisions the ultimate end of the series, the Showtime president said he has discussed it with the people behind the show. He refused to reveal any specifics but claimed that the series will not be over soon.

A teaser for "Homeland" Season 6 showed mostly video highlights from last season but provided an overview of the New York City setting of the upcoming season. There was not much new information offered on what fans can expect but those who watch the show know that they have a lot to look forward to.
