Sony handhelds are getting a taste of "Minecraft" now with developer 505 Games announcement that they're porting their 2D sandbox game "Terraria" to the PS Vita.
"Terraria" joins "Hotline Miami," "Thomas Was Alone," and "Fez" as indie titles (alongside a few others) that Sony hopes will revitalize sales of the lagging handheld.
The game began life on Windows PC and hit record amount of downloads on the day of its release before finding even more success on the PlayStation Network and XBox Live with brand new content.
505 isn't saying whether the handheld port will be getting all the additions it did when it makes its way over to PSN and XBLA, but it seems safe to assume so. Anything extra beyond that hasn't been mentioned as of yet, including price, or a specific release date. We'll keep you posted if they make any additional announcements.
