It is not too long ago when Niantic, Inc. initially released the location-based reality game Pokemon Go in July 06, 2016. Gamers all over the globe were excited following reports of the game's release date, and were immediately hooked in the game as soon as it hit the app stores.
Halloween is celebrated every year throughout the world and it's common and expected for games to join in the celebration. Some examples are Clash of Clans and League of Legends, just one of the many games to organize events related to Halloween.
Months after its global release, Pokemon Go players will have something else to look forward to by the end of this month. Halloween is almost here, and players are thrilled as to what would be Niantic's Pokemon Go Halloween craze. Niantic, Inc. has not done any special event just yet since they released Pokemon Go, but knowing that players are excited of it and must be awaiting for its announcement, they should get the idea.
"I think it would be sort of funny if at least for Halloween weekend itself, Niantic made ghost type Pokémon spawn at say, a 1,000% increased rate, having Ghastlys, Haunters and Gengars running wild all over the map. Given that it would only be producing candy for one Pokémon tree, it wouldn't break the game or anything, but it would certainly fit the mood", wrote Paul Tassi in his article published in Forbes.
Pokemon Go is a free-to-play game available on Android, iOS and Apple Watch devices. It was developed and published by Niantic, Inc. with the help of their artist Dennis Hwang and composer Junichi Masuda.
The game uses the mobile device's GPS (Global Positioning System) to locate, battle, capture and train virtual creatures. Although it suffered server outages because of extreme usage, and some hackers also tried to take it down using DDoS (distributed denial of service} assault, Niantic managed to fix it and still trying to make developments of the game.
