"Rocket League" is about to get a little spookier. In light of Halloween, the developers of the football-with-wheels arcade hit are getting into the holiday spirit with some free DLC. Players will be able to customize their vehicles even more with these newly released Halloween-themed loot crates. However, players should be quick to get them while they last.
According to VG24/7, the "Rocket League" Halloween event is currently live and in living color. Players have until November 1 to pick up these amusingly satisfying DLC packs which are free of charge. For those wondering, these loot packs include various items such as toppers, trails, and all sorts of gadgets and gizmos for all your spooky soccer-car needs.
As per the "Rocket League" official website, these packs will offer a variety of customizable car parts that each have their own unique looks and aesthetic appearance. Players can choose to install the Bone King Topper, which adds that little haunting demeanor on top of a vehicle for all other players on the field to gaze upon in terror. Alternatively, players can go the scary but cute route and choose to use the Ghost add-on, which is certain to provide a lot of "aww" moments in the game.

As far as antennas go, the one that seems to be getting the most love is the Fuzzy Skull. Basically, this add-on gives the player's vehicle a trail of slime-green skulls as they glide through the "Rocket League" field, adding an awesome neon effect. This could provide an advantage as opposing players would end up seeing random skulls flying across their screen.
