With the impending release of the Playstation 4 Pro, also known as PS4 Pro, many game developers have taken a proactive approach and introduced technical upgrades for some of their gaming titles. The games "Shadow of Mordor," "Smite" and "The Elder Scrolls Online" recently received patch updates to enhance some of its features.
PS4 Pro is just one of the upcoming gaming consoles that boast of an improved graphical feature to provide more vivid visuals and a 4K auto-upscaling feature. Scheduled for release in November, the latest Playstation console is best played with a 4K television set for a richer gaming experience.
However, not all gaming titles may be compatible with the said unit. In anticipation of PS4 Pro's upcoming release, several game developers have deployed 4K support patch updates. Bethesda Softworks and Square Enix both released game updates for "The Elder Scrolls Online" and "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," respectively, according to Gear Nuke.
Similar to "Hustle King," the action-adventure video game "Shadows of Mordor: Game of the Year" edition also received a similar update. Version 1.02 indicated an enhancement that will support 4K resolution.
Apart from the said games, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" will also get a PS4 Pro compatibility update, as stated in the same report. The said patch will even introduce two resolution changes where one mode will support a 4K resolution while the other will feature an improved resolution at 1080p.
Meanwhile, patch 3.19 for the multiplayer online game "Smite" also included an enhancement to its texture resolution as preparation for the impending release of the PS4 Pro, Playstation Lifestyle reported. The said patch also introduced a Halloween-themed arena for the game, as well as a new god named Camazotz including new god skins and god changes.
